Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Ninsei Labs (“skilladay,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the skilladay website, mobile apps, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a subscription. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You access skilladay through an account created with our authentication provider, including the option to sign in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may not share your account or use someone else’s without permission.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and renewals

Plans and pricing. skilladay is offered as a paid subscription (for example, $14.99/month or $89/year). Prices are shown at checkout and may change; we will give notice of price changes as required by law.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. Payment is charged to your selected payment method through our processor, Stripe.
Taxes. Prices may exclude applicable taxes, which will be added where required.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime from your account’s billing settings; your subscription remains active through the end of the current paid period, after which it will not renew. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@skilladay.io.

5. The Service and content

skilladay provides curated, bite-size lessons and original step-by-step checklists, and may link to third-party tutorials and resources. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our content for your own personal, non-commercial learning while your subscription is active. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, or create derivative works from our content except as expressly permitted.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its security, or its infrastructure.
Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you’re not authorized to access.
Reverse engineer, scrape, or bulk-download content except as allowed by law.
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its content.

7. Hands-on activities — your safety and responsibility

skilladay teaches real-world, hands-on skills (for example cooking, baking, candle-making, gardening, and basic home repairs). These activities can involve heat, sharp tools, chemicals, electricity, allergens, and other risks. You are solely responsible for performing them safely, using appropriate caution and protective equipment, following manufacturer instructions, and complying with local laws and codes. Consult a qualified professional when appropriate. You undertake all activities at your own risk.

8. Third-party services and content

The Service relies on and links to third parties (such as Google, Stripe, and the tutorials we curate). Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and policies, and we are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including our original content, software, design, logo, and the skilladay name, is owned by Ninsei Labs and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license above, we reserve all rights. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written permission.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any skill, tutorial, or result will meet your expectations.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NINSEI LABS AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ninsei Labs and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, the license granted to you ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY/STATE], and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
